It’s rattling my house …!  You can almost see the glass on the (double-glazed) windows bowing very slightly – it’s certainly moving …
 
The roof is creaking, and you can hear slates clattering above in their housings …
 
I just went outside, and fought my way across the road, to check all was OK in the shop, [...]

Whit has the weather been like just recently …? Is anyone else in danger of being blown away just now …?!
 
We’ve had thunder and lightning storms, wheely-bins being blown around, cold rain in horizontal sheets, but amazingly, sunny interludes like just now, inbetween …

Just another lovely Lewis sunset … Taken at around 3.30pm today, Sunday …
It wasn’t as dark as the photo tells - the sky was still light prussian blue hues, and the redness of the sun was reflected in Loch Roag waters …

My ducks had frost on their tails this morning, poor darlings …
They have a perfectly good duck-house to reside in overnight, and an overturned wheelbarrow to give them some respite from the cold winds at night, but no, they prefer to just get on with it [...]
